Daniel Herron MD
Dr. Herron is Director of the Mount Sinai Program for Surgical Weight Loss. He is a general and bariatric surgeon and has been performing minimally invasive surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital since 1999. He serves as System Chief of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery for the Mount Sinai Heath System.

Matt Dong MD
Dr. Matthew Dong is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Dong received his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic. He went on to complete the Advanced GI and Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

Gustavo Fernandez-Ranvier MD
Dr. Fernandez-Ranvier completed his residency in general surgery at A. Posadas /Parmenio Piniero Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Endocrine Surgical Oncology at the University of California.. Dr. Fernandez-Ranvier completed his fellowship in Minimally Invasive Endocrine and Metabolic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and is currently an Assistant Professor in Surgery.

Eric Edwards, MD
Eric D. Edwards, MD, is the Chief of Surgery and the Head of the Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery program at Mount Sinai Queens. He is Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He received his medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School and completed a residency in surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center during which time he became interested in helping patients with the metabolic complications of obesity.
